Preferred Word Gender? What does that mean?

Latin has 3 word genders: Male, Female and Neuter. Names in Latin only have 2 genders: Male and Female. To conform to the ways of the language we ask which of these forms you prefer to be addressed with. We of course do not wish to intrude on your sexuality or sexual identity. For this reason we allow you to enter your gender as opposed to choosing from a dropdown, however some genders will be flagged and we will be sent an email to review your application if such occurs.

I don't understand Roman Names

If you don't understand Roman Naming Conventions, then good news! We have a wiki page dedicated to Roman Naming and we even have a list of all the names a civis can use in their name listed there (all 9 million of them!) However, if you use the form to sign up then your name will always be an acceptable Roman name.

If, after reading the wiki page, you still don't understand Roman Naming Conventions, please contact the censores
